Witch Fine Art Print
Witch Fine Art Print. Inspired by the Salem Witch Trials, and my passion for creepy horror movies I felt the urge to produce some Gothic Art and to test my drawings skills at the same time.
The words in this one are from the actual courtroom transcript of the trial of Brigett Bishop , one of the most famous women sentenced to death by hanging during the Salem Witch Trials in 1692.
Her verdict starts us off and then I have used some of her words of protest in the cloak of the central witch. The witches are based on witches from American Horror Story Season 3 Coven, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
In the background my doodles are all individually drawn, then black colour added to the background. You may notice scenes depicted from iconic witch etchings, drawings and paintings throughout history.
No gothic art is complete without crows and skulls, and I also squeezed in a cute black cat.
Enjoy the detail!
